One of a few on-site paintings I've completed in 2013 for the Three Rivers Art Festival. This piece was painted in oil on canvas in two five hours sessions about two weeks apart. The little icon is rusting out front of a glass and window pane business and it can be easily seen in front of the store parking lot.

In its condition, I often wonder what a surfer dude would do if he could purchase it and take it back to a more metal friendly environment like Southern California.
